Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg now answers to Wall Street
On the one hand, the fact that Zuckerberg — who has joined the ranks of other tech pioneers such as Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin — will still be in charge may be what has drawn some investors to Facebook, argued Santa Clara University law professor Stephen Diamond.

Zuckerberg and Chan: Generation Prenup?
Similarly, if we were all straightened out internally, prenups would lose their ethical gravity. The more issues we carry around, and the more fearful we are of ourselves and others, the more reason we have to stress out about the moral status of prenups and the decision tree surrounding them. Logic and pop social science are on hand to tell us that we can learn how to sidestep our chaotic feelings and reach the “right” outcome by following just a few simple steps. In fact, whether or not Zuckerberg and Chan need a prenup depends on just one factor: whether they want to choose to get one. If they choose to make their marriage last, a prenup is useless; on the other hand, if they choose to make their marriage last, having a prenup won’t impair that choice.

Brian Dickerson: Putting a value on Facebook
Even as GM seeks new platforms for its paid advertising, for example, it continues to spend an estimated $20 million to $30 million a year to maintain the free Facebook pages that have become critical conduits to owners and potential buyers. While that money may not be flowing into Facebook’s coffers, it speaks to how quickly Zuckerberg’s company has made itself indispensible to even the most venerable retailers.

LaCorte said Alberto will produce increased waves at beaches in the Carolinas. There is a high risk of rip currents along North Carolina's Outer Banks, and a moderate risk along the southeastern beaches and the entire South Carolina coast. Winds will gust to around 25 mph.
Andy Pettitte showed that he still has some left in the tank, turning back the clock to shut out the Reds for eight innings. He allowed just four hits — all singles — in the contest while striking out nine. It was his first win since coming out of retirement to rejoin the Yankees, and his presence could go a long way toward solidifying New York's rotation.
When the happy fun buses that make up the reunited Van Halen tour roll into Southern California in early June, it may be a last opportunity fans have to catch the '70s metal giants on this tour. Dates on the band's summer tour, featuring the oft-feuding lineup of David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen and Alex Van Halen, as well as Eddie's son Wolfgang Van Halen, have been disappearing, canceled without so much as a statement from the band or any explanation from the promoter, Live Nation.
Along Michigan Avenue, the city’s main shopping thoroughfare dubbed “The Magnificent Mile,” the Crate and Barrel store has prepared an emergency email and phone response system to get messages to employees. Lunch will be provided so employees do not have to leave the store even though the area is teeming with restaurants.

And it showed last night. It showed in how the Devils were unbowed by the 2-1 deficit that stared them in the face late in the second period, and showed even more in how they refused to budge off the lead once they snuck that third goal past Henrik Lundqvist. Most of all, it showed up in how they showed up last night. A lot of folks got carried away by the Rangers’ Game 1 win, and somehow the Devils were reduced to a sparring partner in a lot of precincts.

“We play by the rules,” he said, adding that he is “vigorously fighting previous allegations. “We run pure horses.” He did say that, earlier in his career, he ran horses who may not have been prepared to run because he felt pressure to help fill fields. While admitting that the scrutiny he’s faced has been a distraction – O’Neill does this sort of thing, telling the truth where others in sports would rely on cliches; he did the unthinkable and let on that he and his crew have already talked about Belmont and the final leg of the Triple Crown – he said that it’s not completely new. “I’m sort of used to all the highs and lows,” he said, “all the daggers thrown at you when you have some luck and win a big race.” I’ll Have Another did train Wednesday morning, and continues to look ready. There’s much more activity at Pimlico now, but the colt deals with it well and has looked strong. A nine-week layoff between his first and second races this year – both first-place finishes, in the Robert Lewis and Santa Anita Derby – has him peaking now, O’Neill said. “I guess it’d be like being part of LeBron James’ family,” he said when asked about the experience of trainingI’ll Have Another. “Watching him run around out there, it’s just like, ‘Holy mackerel.’” O’Neill continued to praise Bodemeister, and said that I’ll Have Another will likely need to show more early speed in the Preakness. None of the other horses entered will be fast enough to push the pace, so O’Neill anticipates I’ll Have Another front-running early, resting mid-race and chasing down Bodemeister down the stretch. Because of the race plan, O’Neill said, I’ll Have Another’s post position won’t be that important. If anything, O’Neill is most concerned with having his colt stand in the gate for the shortest time possible. The post position draw is at 6 p.m. tonight. It appears 11 horses will be entered; Guyana Star Dweej withdrew Wednesday due to injury. As the pace of questions slowed, O’Neill reflected on the hospitality he’s been shown in Baltimore. He threw out the first pitch at the Orioles game – it would have plunked a right-handed batter in the noggin – on Tuesday night after sprinting through the streets. Traffic had forced the group to arrive a bit late. O’Neill reflected on everyone’s favorite mascot, Kegasus, the half man, half horse who rules over the Preakness infield. “Just when you think you’re a little goofy,” he said, “you see Kegasus and think, ‘I’m all right. Everything is OK.’”
Tami is truly a BULLY! I can’t believe someone who is 41 years old would behave like this. She should apologize to Kesha for acting like a monster. I don’t believe that her ANGER is that intense. I think she likes to pick on those she deem as weak. And I believe Evelyn is the same way. These two wouldn’t dare talk to real thug women like this. Only those they feel they can defeat. They should take heed in the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover” because they are going to flare up at the wrong person and get themselves hurt. I think Evelyn was surprised last season when she lashed out at Royce and almost got her head taken off by Royce. She was totally not expecting Royce to fight back, and I’m so glad she did. Evelyn hasn’t said anything to her or about her since then. As adults, we all say ‘turn the other cheek’ or ‘take the high road’, but when your dealing with people like Tami and Evelyn you have speak their language and give them a little of their own medicine. That’s the only thing they hear. Tami showed this last night by continuing to go at Kesha. I’m glad the other ladies have walked away. I like the way Jennifer handled it by suing. I hope everyone else who is threatened or physically harmed by either of these two, will press charges and have them arrested, or sue them the way Jen did. That’ll put an end to their foolishness. GROWN WOMEN? Unbelievable!
